Erica holds a degree in Biology at the University of Padua and a Master’s Degree in Science Communication at SISSA (International School for Advanced Studies, Trieste). She has worked as cultural mediator for UNESCO and as science writer for 15 years as freelance for national and international media and for publishing houses and public national bodies such as the Italian National Institutes of Health and the Italian National Transplant Centre within the Ministry of Health. Erica is a member of SWIM, the Italian association of science writers and currently works as Head of Communication and Public Engagement also at Ca' Foscari University of Venice Foundation. She is a soprano singer in the Big Vocal Orchestra and writes short science stories for young children at Tiny Readers publishing.
