Matteo Silverio has a Master degree in architecture at IUAV University of Venice and he attended a professional master in Advanced Architecture at IAAC in Barcelona, where he specialized in computational design and digital fabrication.
During his professional career, he collaborated with several design studios coordinating multidisciplinary teams on various international projects such as the Baku National Library (with AI Projects), the project of 28 schools in Istanbul (with Altieri Group + AI Progetti) and the proposal for the Sustainability Pavilion for Dubai 2020 Expo (with CRA).
In 2017 founded S I L V E R I O, a multidisciplinary workshop laboratory involved in a wide range of architecture and design projects. Many of them have been published in books, magazines, and exhibited in prestigious museums or institutions such as the Saatchi Gallery and the Mint in London, or the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, among others.
Moreover, Matteo promotes teaching and research activities. He teaches 3D modeling and computational design within the MADI (master in architettura digitale) at IUAV University of Venice and is also part of the IED faculty of Venice as "Digital Fabrication expert".
